Education in the UK

British colleges provide education at a wide range of academic levels including A-levels (the traditional route to university entry) and international foundation courses, as well as vocational qualifications and the International Baccalaureate.

At SelectStudies we have selected the very best options from each level, allowing us to offer you a tailor-made educational programme to meet your needs.

A-levels

The traditional qualification if you are aged 16-18 and the best option for many of our students.

Vocational Courses

If you want to turn a more practical passion into a career then the vocational option is perfect!

The IB

A newer qualification that is gaining increasing recognition in the UK and abroad!

Sixth form colleges - a great option!

Our colleges cater almost exclusively to students who are aged 16-18, offering a wide range of qualifications than a traditional school.

You will find that you are treated like a young adult who wants to learn, enjoying a more informal relationship with your teachers than you may be used to if you study in a traditional school at home. This promotes a dynamic and vibrant learning environment where you can excel.

All the colleges we work with have excellent facilities, including media suites, photography studios, performing arts theatre etc., which provide an exciting and realistic environment for your learning. Outside classes you will be able to take part in a wide range of sports and enrichment activities, helping you to keep active, enhance your learning, and meet new friends.

British education is high quality, globally recognised and offers transferable qualifications that are accepted by all UK and many top overseas universities.

There is of course an extended support network in place. You will have a contact person at SelectStudies who will follow you throughout your programme – from your application to the day you return home. Each college also has an international officer who you will be able to contact with any questions  diring your time at college.
